- זִיבָהII or זֵיבָה. (popular diatectical pronunciation for זְאֵבָה) wolf. Y.Shek.V, 48d a woman said לְזִיבָתִי (v. preced.) which was interpreted as possibly meaning זאב בא ליטול את בנה a wolf had come near carrying off her son (and hence the thanks-offering); (differ. in Men.64b, v. זֹוב).
